This
will be a wonderful adventure in extreme Northern Arizona to
experience some of our State's most beautiful natural features!
We'll first stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post,
established in 1916 and a showplace for exquisite Native
American and Southwest Art and items, both contemporary and
antique, and the gift shop offers a wide selection of Southwest
and Native American art as well as Southwest decor. We'll also
have lunch at the Trading Post (on own).
Then we'll head to Page, where we'll enjoy a jeep tour to the
amazing Antelope Canyon area -- one of the most tranquil but
breathtaking places on earth. Carved from the Navajo sandstone
over of countless millennia, the majestic and narrow slot
canyons allow just enough space to walk the sandy floor - and
for the occasional shafts of sunlight to shine down from above.
We'll then check into our hotel and have dinner (on own) andan
evening to rest and relax from the day's adventures.
The next morning, after breakfast, we'll see Antelope Canyon
again -- this time on a Canyon Adventure Boat Tour -- a relaxing
boat cruise that glides through narrow colorful sand stone walls
of the canyon. Later we'll spend time at the Glen Canyon Dam
Visitor's Center.
We'll then depart Page and head for home, stopping at Camp Verde
for dinner (on own) along the way.
